I am was a PhD student at the University of Manchester but had to finish early due to illness so am currently looking for something new to do whist serving my church, having previously studied in Liverpool. I was brought up in a Christian family and became a Christian at 15 though drifted away a bit during my undergraduate degree, a friend brought me back to church on my MSc course in Manchester and I'm now a committed member of a small evangelical church.
Outside of university and church I like to split my time between Kayaking, walking and more cultural things like the theatre.
