I was saved as a very young teenager (born again in Christ and transformed in spirit), never married with no children. I am mainly focused on starting with Christian fellowship/friendship (the rest I leave up to the Lord's will), but I'm not seeking just dating or a romantic relationship with someone not seeking marriage as a final goal. I'm also seeking a man that is born again in spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
I've lived and worked abroad for some time but a serious family emergency caused me to move back to the United States. Building a whole new life has been challenging. The majority of my friends and connections are abroad, so it would be nice to make more new Christian friends here also. Nevertheless, I welcome believers from all over the world.

Previously I haven't mentioned this but I think it best to clarify the type of person I'm NOT seeking.
* You DON'T believe the bible is the inspired Word of God or you don't bother to read it.
* You are frivolous and extremely worldly (conforming to this world as the bible commands us born again believers in Christ not to do in Romans 12:2 ).
* You DON'T care to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit but prefer to lean upon your own understanding, thus rushing into foolish romantic involvements, not of God.
* You haven't even bothered to read my profile. I'm sure if you're not at least willing to learn what I have to share about myself here, your intentions for real Christian fellowship/romance are disingenuous. Don't waste my time or yours! :waving:

As born again Christians one important factor to be aware of is , "What is the biggest sign we are living in the last days?" Clearly the bible says one huge indication is cold love.
Matthew 24:12-13 "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
You might be wondering what is meant by love growing cold. Well, the scriptures teach that Cold love is a type of love which masquerades as the Real McCoy but it is not. The best biblical example of this would be the type of love many of the Pharisees possessed: on the surface they loved the law but underneath they had little or no love for the people: as a result they had no real love for God. (lookup bible verses listed below)

I would suggest that perhaps the better way to determine if our love has grown cold is to ask how much we love people outside our immediate families and friends. Does the Love of Christ reflect in our actions towards those around us who are hurting? Do we reach out to the stranger/ foreigner, the lonely, the sick, the poor, the grieving, the outcast, etc? If the answer is not much, then perhaps we have already fallen away, no matter how much we profess with our lips to desire to be more Christ like.
Confessing to love God is an easy thing to say but how do you prove it? It grieves God's spirit to see so many Christians nowadays falling short when it comes to truly demonstrating the love of Christ. Far to many churches are unfriendly and many Christians don�t even bother to extend a hand of friendship or kindness to new people outside their inner circle. Sad to say, I've personally been the victim of this "Cold Love" and I know the pain it causes. So how is it that we almost never talk of falling away from God in terms of falling away from loving other people? Its little wonder James is the book of the Bible that gives us so much heartburn. More than any other book in the New Testament, James places the spotlight on the necessity for believers to act in accordance with our faith. How well do your actions mirror the faith that you proclaim?
Another aspect of cold love manifests itself in a life of lukewarmness � neither enthusiastic nor tepid. The Church in Laodicea once fervent fell into this trap of tepidity.
Rev 3:15-17 �I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing; not knowing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked�.
My prayer for all of you as my brothers and sisters in Christ is 1 Thes 4:9 " ...as regards brotherly love, you don't need any written instructions. God himself is teaching you to love each other.� May the Lord also use you to encourage other believers to show that LOVE prevails within the body of Christ. Furthermore, remember, you don�t often need to look very far to demonstrate this love because someone in your very mist might be in need. Be watchful, alert and ready to reach out with compassion!
