Thanks for stopping by. My hope is you may relate to my journey and walk with God and Jesus Christ, only begotten of The Father. He intimately loves and faithfully guides and miraculously heals my being!
Perhaps you may the one He chose to share in our hopes and dreams and prayers.
Kindness is very important to me. Honesty, empathy, integrity and wisdom are also very important virtues I endeavor to uphold.
Q: How do you relate to great challenges; to trials, tribulations, suffering; as laid out in Scripture? Of Paul's suffering; or Job's? Do you relate to 'Dark nights of the soul' and of Spiritual awakening and enlightenment?
Yes, we are all on our own unique, beautiful, spiritual journey of knowing and loving our Great God and Father; as He intricately and intimately brings us into a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Redeemer, Lord, and Friend.
As we grow in our 'knowledge' and 'love' of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I believe it is crucial that we take what we have learned to our 'neighbor' to bring light and hope; that, they too, may find their way.
I endeavor to be a 'bright and shining light,' a 'friend' to all, a coworker and ambassador of God's love and truth.
One of my prayers is that God has someone -perhaps here on CDFF - who will help support and guide me toward all that I desire and hope to accomplish, as we sojourn this earthly existence together.
Some insights into myself:
I am down-to-earth, friendly, open-minded, intelligent, honest, witty, passionate.
I am a gentleman, trusted dad, papa, friend and brother. I strive to be a man of complete integrity for God, for myself and for others.
I am kind, considerate, warm, spontaneous, adventurous, and a good sense of humor.
I take great care to be balanced and teachable, to practice righteousness and virtue in everything. This attitude comes from taking (more than) my share of bumps and bruises along the way.
I am passionate about wisdom, truth, love, and understanding through Holy Scripture; consistently listening to God's Spirit and 'voice;' and paying attention to what is happening around me and in the world.
I endeavor to enjoy life to its fullest, to smile and laugh often, to be caring, compassionate, and a good friend and listener.
I enjoy engaging in intellectual, spiritual, stimulating conversation, for the glory of God; and for sharpening the mind (as iron sharpens iron, so sharpening one another).
I believe in striving for and practicing the greatest virtues; and daily exercising Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit (the dwelling places of Gods Spirit and Word).
Additionally:
I enjoy playing acoustic guitar, writing (songs, poetry, etc), reading, exploring, adventure, etc. I enjoy being creative and exploring new ideas and adventures.
I love nature and the great outdoors. I enjoy regular walks/ hikes and finding the quietest, most beautiful and remote places for the best opportunity to meditate and take in the majesty of God's creation.
Most important:
I aspire to be 'Christlike' in everything; thoughts, words, actions, etc. I am unquestionably a 'work in progress' and, therefore, fall short of the glory and will of God [the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak - as I'm sure you relate].
