I'm an Old Fashioned Christian Cowboy, Believer in Christ Alone and not religion. I believe in being equally yoked in the Lord. I'm from Texas and have just lived here in Missouri a couple years.
I have been single for over 21 years, and have not dated either, During that time the Lord has been heeling, growing, and preparing me for what is now ahead. I do not smoke, drink, or do drugs, but do use tobacco. I also am not into tattoos, wild hair, etc...however, I can see past it if we are equally yoked. I'm pretty much a clean cut, very old fashion kind of ole boy...lol. I am very friendly, affectionate, attentive, passionate, real, open, and a great communicator. I share my heart fully, and openly, and also desire someone who shares her heart openly as well.
I'm currently and planning on buying some property to homestead on, and work to become self-sufficent. I enjoy writing christian poems, quotes, and etc...I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan...I hope this isn't where I lost you...lol.I love Mexican food, good ole fashion chicken fried steak abd cream gravey, and love cooking it as well. I enjoy homesteading, building things, auctions, flea markets, some college football, camping, traveling, site seeing, rodeos, dancing, yard sales, county fairs, antiques, cooking, raising animals, gardening, remodeling, country drives, watching movies, especially romantic ones, anything goodhearted, and of course westerns. I love history and anything old, including older people. and their values.
IN THE PAST: I was a RA Leader at church, 4-H Leader also. When I worked I was a Salesman in the oil field in West Texas, covering Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. I also drove a truck for several years and was a trainer, before having to quit. That's just a touch. I'm basically a jack of all trades, master of none. There's not much I haven't done, or can't do. I use to be an extreme athlete, but have put on weight since becoming disabled. Now the Lord is guiding me to the Keto diet, and loosing it and getting back to where I was.
IN A RELATIONSHIP: I am a together type person. I enjoy doing a lot together. I am very romantic, passionate, affectionate, attentive, loving, fun-loving, huggy, kissy, hand holder, cut up, love to talk, great communicator, etc... I have to say that humor is a huge part of who I am. I am usually always cutting up, and yes can even be silly you might say. So, if your a serious type person, then we wouldn't be a good match. When I love, I love with my whole heart. I am also a very simple person on one hand, while being a very deep person too. Meaning I like to live a simple life, but am always seeking the deeper things of the Lord, and to grow in him together. I try to always be positive and to look to the Lord in faith. Along with striving always to live and grow as one together in him. I believe in lifting up one another, as the other half in him. To me marriage is a together union, not a separate thing as many today treat it. I believe that struggles are something to go through together in faith, knowing he will see us through, and then use it to make us stronger. I share these things because I also believe 100 percent in being equally yoked, and going in the same direction together in him. Don't get me wrong though, I do not think that you have to be alike in every single thing. There are just things which I feel lead to be similar in, equally yoked in. I do not need someone, but would now like someone if it is his will, and we are equally yoked in him.

The Old Is Gone, The New Has Come
.
Many people and things leave our lives, this is so
Sometime or another, that?s how it goes
New ones will come, to replace the gone
He uses it all, to carry us along
So don't be sad, or be blue
Because our Gracious Lord, is always true
Through mountains and valleys, he guides the way
Faith in your heart he desires to stay
His love never changing and always complete
Especially when we, kneel at his feet.
Let his peace and joy over flow from you
Right into the hearts, of those who are new
Let the old be gone, and the new begin
With love from the Father that comes from within

- I really believe in just being friends and allowing the Lord to prove if we are equally yoked. I do however believe in doing things together and getting to know one another. Yes, dating so to speak. At the same time, the word tells us to guard our heart. Therefore, only committing your heart totally, once time and the Lord have proved we are equally yoked.
Instead of calling it a first date. I would call it a meeting and getting to know one another. Meeting for coffee, a walk in a park, dinner, or whatever comes to mind that we would agree upon.
