I seek a man who will help me grow more in my walk with my Heavenly Father. Someone who will pray with me and study the Bible with me daily. Someone whom I could wholeheartedly support as his helpmeet and lover. Someone whom I could respect and honor and grow alongside of. Someone I can cook for and care for and, if God wills, have children with. If he is a widower and already has children of his own, I would love them as my own.
I look for a man who.....
*Does not Smoke
*Does not Drink alcoholic beverages of any kind at any time
*Has maintained purity--waiting for marriage if he is single, and if a widower, he has kept himself pure since the time his wife passed away
*No Tattoos
*Clean-cut, no long hair
*Not addicted to TV or video gaming
*Is a member of a conservative fundamental Baptist Church with only traditional worship (old-fashioned hymns)
Please don't ask me to compromise on the following:
He only likes very conservative sacred music and classical music, as I do. He does not enjoy listening to rock, pop, jazz, blues, country, folk, rap, etc. etc. He prefers listening to traditional hymns and conservative Christian music like the WILDS, Soundforth, BJU Press, Herbster Evangelistic Team, Ken Lynch, Ambassador Baptist College, Baptist College of Ministry, etc.
Please note: I believe in being honest with communication. I expect the same from you if you choose to write me. :) This would mean that if you state you are "single/never-married", that you are really "single/never-married." Thank you so much!!!
About the pics, LOL... I like to switch my pics out and in every so often. I currently have long hair, so the ones with short hair were taken over a year ago... ;)
I make friends easily. I love talking with others and learning about them. I have a sense of humor and gain joy/pleasure out of the little things of life. As a teacher, I lead my class, but in life I tend to be a follower. I desire to marry a man whom I can respect and follow wholeheartedly, knowing he will lead me in the right way.
I am known for being persistent, having perseverance to complete a task whether it's easy or difficult. If it is my responsibility, then I will work hard at it until it is done. I'm also quite stubborn... ;) But I am willing to let God work in and through my stubbornness to have His way.
People often comment on my smile. :) I love to smile and have a song in my heart. "The Joy of the Lord is my strength," Neh. 8:10
I tend to be creative and can often come up with unique ways of making things or of solving problems. Give me a little, and I can turn it into a lot. :o)
I love reading and studying my Bible. I love attending church and fellowshipping with fellow believers. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 4 years old, on Oct 16, 1983. As a young child, I hungered for the Word of God.
My favorite Bible Verses are Phil. 3:8-10. I love reading the Psalms; they speak to my heart in times of need. I'm currently reading Acts and Isaiah in my daily Bible reading. I love Isa. 40. Recently, in my study of Acts, the Lord impressed on me how He can work through fallible men in miraculous ways. He used men like Peter to proclaim His Word, and as they shared the truth of the Gospel, many believed and trusted in Christ as their Savior.
It is important to always keep God first at all times and not to push a relationship that ultimately isn't going to work out. "A woman's heart should be so close to God that a man should have to chase Him to find her," C. S. Lewis
