You
You’re a positive, optimistic person who feels blessed with a good life. You have a witty sense of humor and can banter with the best of them. You’re comfortable at home in a pair of shorts or jeans, but you also love to dress up to go out. You have a deep seated faith that anchors your life and manifests itself in how you live it. You have a great sense of humor and love to have fun. When I take you miniature golfing and miss my shot, you laugh and say, “Boy, it's good you don’t do THAT for a living!”
You’ve got intelligence, education (either formal OR self-educated), and you’re well spoken, with a good command of the English language. You might even be fluent in a second language, like Spanish. You’re comfortable in public/social situations and enjoy meeting/connecting with people, even if they’re not exactly like you. Though you may not have children of your own, you’d love to embrace and be embraced by mine and my grandchildren. You’re gifted and successful in your own right, but when with your man, you can relax and express your very feminine soul. You're sexy in a wholesome way, and you believe in sanctified sex. Me
Authenticity is a bedrock value to me. I was born into a wonderful Christian family and grew up in the church. At age 15/16 I realized that the faith I had been given had to become my own for it to be real. After months of genuine seeking and searching, God used an excerpt of something written by C.S. Lewis to speak to both my mind and my heart. That night, as I knelt by my bed, I asked the Lord Jesus that if He were really Who He said He was, to please reveal that to me. How can you explain it? He answered that prayer, and gave me the faith to just know that the gospel was true. By His grace, I've followed Him ever since.
Relationships are extremely high in my order of priorities: God first, the love of my life second, my children and grandchildren a close third, then extended family and friends. I have four wonderful children. I have told each of them hundreds, if not thousands of times, that they don't share my love. Rather, I love each one as if they were the only one, and will do that as long as God gives me breath. I also have a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law to be, and four precious grandchildren, who are now a part of our circle of love.
My late, sweet wife and I had an incredible marriage. The Lord took her home in 2017. Although she will always have a sacred place in my heart, you will not live in her shadow. I savor the blessings of the past, but live in the present and embrace the future. If you've ever experienced an Ephesians 5 marriage, you would never want to settle for anything less. After seeing "Love Affair" with Warren Beatty and Annette Benning, a woman once wrote in her journal, "Would you, could you, will you love me like that?" An Ephesians 5 man would, could, and will.
Regarding work, I’ve been blessed to serve in various leadership roles in a broad array of venues: Christian ministry, government and the political arena, and business.
After my father had three major heart attacks and a stroke, I was inspired to pursue optimal health and fitness. Thankfully, that's resulted in wellness, strength, and stamina which rivals that of guys less than half my age. This is a value that I’d want you to share.

We are soulmates, and the romance never ends. We love to share experiences and can't get enough of each other. We know that a couple who PRAYS together and PLAYS together is a couple who STAYS together.
We serve the Eternal King, together. You are a Princess, and your Prince has found you. We treat and celebrate each other that way. We foster growth in each other. We don't live to just have fun in life, although we DO have fun! We share transcendent values and purpose, and are called to make a difference in the world. You respect me and support my mission. You love being a helpmate to your man. By God’s grace and empowerment, I love you as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. Our partnership pleases the Lord, enriches each other, and blesses many.
There's a concept in the world of music called sympathetic resonance. It describes what happens when two things vibrate at the same frequency. If two pianos are both in tune and in the same room, you can strike Middle C on one of those pianos and the Middle C in the other piano will start to vibrate in response to it. That's sympathetic resonance. Obviously, this has application in the world of relationships. Two people who are "perfect" for each other should experience that sympathetic resonance. We do. So, if you're not resonating after reading this, please keep looking - I'm not the one for you. But if you are, well, maybe we should become acquainted!
