I'm a single, hetro, white man (my type is not real popular these days, lol!), a truth seeker, seeking friends, dating, and eventually a woman for marriage in a Biblical context when the man is the head of the household, under God. I'm traditional in that way and believe it's the way God means things to be.
I believe we can make our plans in life, but God has ultimate control and often things turn out differently, so it's best if we can align with what He wants for us.
I'm a private person generally, and also in terms of online things, so that's why I don't have my picture posted (it also cuts down on the scammers who contact me through this site). But I will share a picture, and even video chat on Skype and/or Facetime, with someone I'd like to get to know. Then, it would be good to progress to an in-person meeting soon, if we get along in our conversations.
I'm from west end Toronto, single, never married, and have no children (if you have children, I'm open to that. Looking to get to know someone, date, and see where it goes; I'm a bit old fashioned that way ;)
I'm a creative artist type with a professional career, like to walk/hike in nature in all seasons and appreciate the wonder and the beauty, biking, cross-country skiing (and want to try snow shoes), love music, books/reading, and good TV shows and movies. I love food of many types, tend to eat healthy, and do cook some things, always like to learn more. I enjoy a good coffee (bit of a snob here, as I grind organic beans myself, use pure water, metal reusable filter), as well as many types of tea. I'm also into natural health care as much as possible, and use things like essential oils.
I'm looking for someone I can enjoy the simple things and the finer things with, so we can support each other in our lives, share daily experiences and our dreams, and grow closer in our Faith.
I think it would be great to live a quieter life in the country one day soon (and I'm planning this), yet within a short drive to a city, (to enjoy things in the city but to come home to a peaceful place in nature). I like to garden and want to grow some of our own food (organic veggies, fruit trees), have a greenhouse, solar panels (and an electric car to get charged by them would be great!), appreciate nature, and more! I'm open to moving most anyplace, as I work at home/online, so I will see where I relocate to.
I also like the idea of an RV for a getaway, to tour around new and favourite places. Also I'd like to visit more places overseas I've yet to experience (I've done a fair bit of international travel already, but who knows when that will be possible again...).
In recent years, I came to a deeper understanding of the Bible than I ever had before, and with the help of some good friends I made progress on my path. I was saved and "born again" in Jesus Christ.
