- I have been a Christian for all of my life, but didn't start seriously following God until I was in highschool. At that time, I began to realize how big of an effect he actually has on our lives. Every single day is a day that you can use to get closer to God, Faith is not simply putting your trust in him, it's allowing your thoughts, your heart, and your soul to be his.A little bit about me: I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone, it became rather difficult for me as I entered Junior High because my parents got divorced. I'm pretty close with my father, and to see him in the condition that he was, was pretty devastating. It never was the same without him in Junior High. In Highschool, I started getting myself involved in sports, after school activities, and church. My father met someone who was really caring and became more of a spiritual mother for me. She helped me get through the depression that my father and I have went through for 3 years. We found a home church and when I graduated highschool, she was the main one to help me buckle down and focus on my grades, I graduated in 2015 and in 2016, i left home and went into the military. The military for me has been challenging, fun, and emotional. I would not be where I am today had it not been for my relationship with God and my family. I'm an 88m ( Cargo Deliverer) and enjoy my job. We are pretty much the grunts of logistics. am enrolled in college, taking two courses and enjoy doing it. I have been trying to find a church home in clarksville and one of my friends had suggested I go to Awaken Church.This church has been a fun church to go to. great community, great atmosphere, and great outreach opportunities. I am looking for a person to date because it would be nice to have someone by your side, to talk to and to be with you through everything. I'm waiting on God to send me the right woman, while I believe doing these kinds of things will help.
