I like studying/researching God's Word in-depth, going to the original languages where possible, or learning about customs of the people in the time(s) that they lived to better understand the scriptures, etc. I enjoy going online, watching TV shows or movies (usually on Netflix, Pureflix, or Youtube), making candles, drawing, sketching and/or painting canvases and other media (i.e., paper, wood, old milk cans, etc.). I write poetry, fiction, song lyrics and more. I regularly attend a local karaoke show where I assist the DJ setting up & taking down equipment, help in running the show, and singing.
I value honesty, loyalty, curiosity, humor, an ability to communicate well, dreams & goals and the pursuit thereof, and the ability & willingness to change one's thinking based on new learning. I may add more to this as time goes by ....
- First Date
- There are so many different answers to this question. Generally, the purpose of a first date is to determine if both parties find the other interesting and attractive (not necessarily appearance-wise) enough to consider additional dates, friendship or perhaps a more serious, long term relationship (or something in-between
). In order to make that decision, we would need to be able to get to know each other better which implies talking. Ergo I would think that a first date should be something like going for coffee, a meal, dancing, karaoke and so on. While I love watching movies, going to one would not be conducive to getting to know one another, and should be saved for a possible future date.
