First of, I am forever grateful for all God has done in my life. I have quite the testimony and I love to share it as I try to bring as many as I can to church with me. I know God has that special someone out there for me who loves God with a deep appreciation for all He has done in her life and will be my partner in ministry. Don't get me wrong, I have not reached perfection, nor will I ever until I go to my permanent home in heaven, but I know where I'd be without Him and want to help as many as I can to find this joy that only comes from knowing Him. As the word says "iron sharpens iron" and that's what I pray we will be able to do for each other.
Okay, about me as a date, I love to open doors for my lady and treat her like the jewel God made her to be. I try to be slow to speak and quick to listen because I honestly care about what my date likes, dislikes, is passionate about, etc. I know the gem God has for me will love and respect herself enough to value a true gentleman. I pray all women would do this, but have met too many who don't and end up with guys who mistreat them, which is sad because God has so many blessings to offer us if we just listen to what He says in His love letter.
Those who know me would say that next to God, my utmost love is cooking :) I have always been fascinated with the art of gourmet cooking. As a child, I'd often set a candle light dinner with Martinelli's Gold Medal Sparkling apple cider in elegant wine glasses for our family dinners. I have been a cook in a variety of restaurants; however, I love creating my own creations and that just doesn't happen unless you have your own restaurant, which is one of my dreams as I love cooking for others.

- My sisters always tell me I go a bit overboard on my first dates, but I love dressing up and taking my date to an elegant restaurant then go for a nice walk or drive depending on the weather, so we can talk and get to know a few things about each other.
I can also appreciate a layed back date where we go for coffee and talk, or dinner and a movie. I guess it really doesn't matter as long as we get to talk and get to know each other. I am ready to settle down and start a family which is why talking is important to me because knowing up front if we share the same passions, interests, and goals truly does make a difference.
