About Me
Shalom. Greetings in Yeshua's great name. I am a Messianic believer in Yeshua or Jesus. I love family, Bible study and worship. I'm seeking a woman to marry that loves the Lord with all her heart. She is a prayer partner, worshipper, Bible reader and my best friend. She loves family too.

I favor courtship over dating. What that means to me spending time with friends and family rather than alone time. (In other words, the alone time is reserved for after the marriage. Date nights are for married people and I want a lot of them with the right Mrs).

In courting, I want a holy friendship. In fact, I would even consider saving our first kiss for the wedding day. Putting God first takes discipline but isn't it worth growing closer to God while seeking a mate?

In the Gospels we have marriage lessons taken from First Century Jewish culture. Ultimately, this imagery comes from the Torah. For example, John 14. 3-4 Yeshua tells us:

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”

In this verse, Jesus is teaching us a lesson from First Century Jewish Culture. In Exodus 22, You see a man approached a family to ask the father for the daughter's hand in marriage. If the father agreed, then the couple would become betrothed. (Betrothal is stronger than engagement and carries full commitment). In Jewish tradition, the couple would wait to be alone together. Why? It was the responsibility of the groom to prepare a place to live.

In fact, when the Groom was finished building a house or apartment, his father would tell him it was time to fetch his bride.

(The return of Yeshua is just like this:

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Matthew 24: 36.

In other words, the Marriage Super of the Lamb will only take place when the Father tells Yeshua it is time to be united with his espoused bride).

My ultimate goal in life is to walk in the footsteps of Yeshua while keeping God's holy instructions. I pray every day that I will be able to find a virtuous woman to be a helpmate is this journey.

If you are reading this and considering then pray about it. Rebekah was a woman of faith and agreed to marry Isaac without ever meeting him. It was the Holy Spirit that led her down the right path.

Rebekah saved the first kiss for the wedding night. In addition, Isaac trusted God that a righteous virtuous woman would be introduced to him.

God bless you and thank you for reading.
