After being married since I was 18, I've become a member of the dreaded divorcee's club. The wounds are healing, and I've unpacked most of the baggage, so please don't look upon me as some sort of "project" that needs fixing. I'm quite content with the outcome of this event, and I admit, I like my alone time but I'm no loner. I believe that God intended for us to be with a loving partner, and I'm not one to disappoint God.
My ideal mate is a man who is strong, stable, and a little crazy. (Emphasis on "a little", please). Must be fiscally conservative, have a job (retired is fine), and understand his role according to the Bible in man/woman relationships. Bonus points to any man who is a good speller and does not end sentences with the phrase "ya know what I'm sayin'?"
As independent as I am, I really appreciate a man who can fix things around the house or isn't afraid to try. Yes, I confess...I'm into the HERO type, and although I don't need to be rescued, it would be so nice knowing you'd be there in case I ever do need it.
I've raised 3 beautiful children, and am grandmother to 4 gorgeous grand babies who are a big part of my world. There's always room for more, and I'd welcome your brood into the mix.
Music--the 80's, of course!. Classic movies and classic rock and roll. Love, love, love southern cuisine, bbq, seafood, but mostly try to serve healthy dishes. Like antiquing, old car shows, discovering new places. I've been watching a lot of ME TV lately, but I'm not much of a TV watcher.
