I am done working for a living. I was involved in prison ministry for about 17 years. I left during the past year. I've recently lost 30+ pounds on a low carb diet. Loving it! And my blood sugar is under control...Praise God!!!
I do not attend church because I do not believe in denominations. I have read through the Bible 6 times. The last several times through the Bible for me was in historical/chronological order by events. I now believe firmly that this is the best way to go through His word. My prayer life has exploded and my relationship with the Lord is stronger than any time in my life.
I believe that God's word is sufficient for any Christian. I do not believe that any church can claim to be non-denominational. What you believe and preach is your denomination. The word of God is sufficient for all. Do not follow preachers because most have different interpretations or introspection(cognition) of scripture. I found out the hard way.

- I am not aggressively pursuing a relationship for my life and my walk with God has brought me contentment. I need to focus on a relationship with the Lord. I do, however, keep an open mind to what the Lord may have in mind for my life. His ways are not my ways.
