I am widowed, (2 1/2 years) after being married for 38 years. I would love to find that special someone to share my life and feel that I have a lot to offer.....however, I only want who God has for me. :applause:
I am retired as a probation officer and now own my own gun shop and feel very blessed that I have loved both vocations. I feel that God led me into these careers and that he knew me better than I knew myself for I am not sure that I would have chosen either as a young adult. I am very fortunate that my son is the manager for my business, so this gives me the freedom that I need to come and go as I please, though, I do work most every day. It is an exciting job, however, and it doesn't feel like work.:hearts:
I enjoy a variety of things: shopping, gardening, painting, cooking, decorating, exercising, reading, concerts, and watching movies. I love cooking desserts, but it isn't fun to just cook for myself, so I like to share.:eat:
I am looking for a nice man, with high morals and standards, loving, kind, honest, and not a player. He ejoys conversation and sharing his life with the right person. I would like for us to go to concerts, perhaps someone who enjoys dancing and music, and someone who feels that life is certainly not over, but there is a lot yet to be discovered. I would prefer someone with a keen sense of humor, and one who has a zest for life.:bouncy:
Wouldn't it be fun to have that special someone beside me in the kitchen helping prepare a special meal for a holiday or dinner party? I love a clean house, candles burning, a meal in the crockpot or on the grill, a fire in the fireplace, and perhaps our watching a good movie. Fall is my favorite time of the year, and I would love our lookiing at the beautiful leaves of fall and enjoying what God has for us.:yay:
I have been a Christian for a long time and refuse to settle for someone who is not grounded in the word. I just know that God has someone for each of us so that we will be equally yoked. I anxiously await that special someone!:purpleangel:
