Pretty cool fun guy... I can hang with corporate exec types or discuss auto mechanics or tile and flooring. Like to have a good positive attitude and make experiences fun... life is way too short, and moments are important! Love kids, so I'm welcome to those with children. I was a drummer for over 30 years and love to dance, and am always up for a BBQ, mountain bike ride, cooking a meal together, exploring, or hanging out around a campfire. I work out regularly and am on a healthy diet, cooking all the time (please give me an occasional break!). I love to be outdoors, camp, fish, mountain bike, picnic etc. I also enjoy great craft beer and good bourbon, and every now and then have to watch my mouth sometimes - so how's that for being honest and not too uptight?
My qualities are: A caring gentleman, Intelligent, well educated, adventurer, believe in chivalry, great table manners and etiquette, love dogs, tons of interests from mountain biking to board games to parasailing and white water rafting to competitive softball, historical estate sales, and just connecting. I also enjoy serving and doing volunteer work because I am blessed and desire to bless others when I can. I love to dance as well and can swing, jitterbug, waltz, etc.
I'm drawn to a naturally cute (minimal makeup), fit and compassionate woman of faith who loves the outdoors, enjoys exercising and dancing (or really wants to learn more), is respectful, loves being feminine but has an inner strength and toughness to get through life's battles, believes a great relationship is about always trying to build up, encourage or see your partner's good qualities, and will share the load in working toward both short and long term goals, and believes in trying to grow and improve. In other words, I want an imperfect but forgiving teammate (like me) with a sense of humor about herself and life. Must work hard (rolling sleeves up is necessary in life!), play hard but love cuddlin' up. Bonus if she likes art and design, loves wearing her hair long or she can appreciate craft beer.

- Well, I don't even like to call them first "dates" (too much inference and influence from The Bachelor style TV), but rather "GTKY's" or "Getting to Know You's." To answer a female friend of mine's question, "yes, everyone DOES start out in the friend zone." LOL But my desire is for more, it's just I really want to first KNOW the person I will DESIRE to date later. But love a nice quiet setting where we can talk about God, church and attitudes toward serving, along with our interests, likes, dislikes and the things we've gone through to get to the places we're at in faith. A river walk on a beautiful day or casual picnic by a lake would be ideal.
