Why are we saved?
Most of us know how we are saved. We are saved by grace in the blood shed by Yahshua on the cross. But how many know why we are saved?
Yeshua calls us to be holy as He is holy. We are to follow in His ways. But how many people truly understand what His ways are?
In Matthew 5:17 Yeshua says I have not come to abolish the law or the prophets but to fulfill.
Yeshua kept the law of Moses ( which He Himself gave to Moses) and all of the feasts. And if we are supposed to follow in his ways shouldn't we also keep the law of Moses and the feasts?
Not for our salvation but as a way of honoring and worshiping our Heavenly Father.
When the Pharisees said that Yahshua casts out demons by beelzebub and Yeshua replied A house divided cannot stand. He was not only talking about the demonic realm, but about Himself and our Heavenly Father. John 1:1 in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Throughout the Bible the first five books of the Bible are referred to as the word. Yeshua is the word the word was given to Moses on the mountain face to face and then the Father hid him in the cleft of the rock.
It's very simple. We were saved for the glory of God to worship Him not only in song but in actions also to live just as Christ lived doing our best to live according to the Torah knowing that we are saved by grace through faith in the Messiah.
But how many of our lives resemble those of the non-believers more then Christ?
My faith is hebraic Christian if you're not familiar with that feel free to ask I have been studying the Bible for approximately 27 years I am very passionate about my beliefs.
I am looking for a woman that is kind compassionate loving caring supportive encouraging helpful that understands a man can have a sensitive side and not ridicule him for it. A woman of Christian faith that is willing to search the scriptures to find a deeper level of Gods truth, even if it challenges some of what she's been taught all her life. And I would be happy to discuss any part of this
