I remain hopeful to make the acquaintance of an equally-yoked Christian man, as my best friend and spiritual partner, sharing traditional Biblical values, being joy-filled, steadfast, and prepared for whatever comes our way. In these last days, it's going to take a threefold cord, a husband and wife intertwined with God, to survive. He alone offers healing, forgiveness, restoration, and true marital love and harmony.
*(I have never married and have no children, but adore them as they are a gift from Above. I have been sponsoring and corresponding with children since my late 20's through Compassion International.) Also, I am NOT Catholic; I was raised in Catholicism but came out from among them in my 20's.
*I am thankful my worldly days are long behind me--by the grace, mercy, and love of God, and the sacrifice of His Son:
" Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
*The Lord is my strength and faithful shepherd:
"For the joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10
"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him." Psalm 28:7
*We all desire an easy love but we know it requires sacrifice and a Christ-centered covenant relationship:
"Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 15:5-6
