Ok, now that that's out of the way, we can go on.
Well, first of all, I'm not perfect, I'll never claim to be perfect, but I do strive to be the best Christian I can be for the Lord and with the Lord's help and the Holy Spirit's guidance, and I'm so thankful and grateful for His grace and His love, and that His mercies are new every morning! I am what I am and who I am in Christ Jesus, and how Father God made me, and He is changing me daily to be more and more conformed to the image of His dear Son Whom He loves.
I love Father God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God's Word. And I love to praise and worship the Lord in song and on my 12 string guitar. My favorite new worship song is: Great Are You Lord, by: All Sons and Daughters, I sing it all day long, with all my heart.
I have been studying Gods Word for 37 years, and teaching it for over 32 years. And, I am still learning from His Word. It is infinitely new and full of Holy Spirit directed wisdom, understanding and revelation.
I have written three Biblical Discipleship manuals (non-denominational) which are printed in Phoenix, AZ and sold at cost, I make nothing on them, I just want believers to be firmly grounded on the Word of God, and to be sure of What they believe as born-again Believers in Jesus Christ and Why they believe. In 2011, I also wrote a book (self-published at my former church in Montgomery, AL) entitled: "Where In The World Is America Going? Maybe NOT Where You Think", subtitled: "A Handbook to Help You Understand the Times", taking a look at the contemporary world, America, the Church and mankind from a Biblical Apologetics (1Pet. 3:15-16) viewpoint. Only about 1500 copies printed. It didn't make the New York Times best seller list, lol, but, then again, I didn't expect it to. It was actually intended to help strengthen the body of Christ in the area where I was living at that time.
I think most people have an idea of what they view as success, here's mine: To hear the words; "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into your rest." And I have a favorite picture portraying that verse that I've kept in my Bible for about 35 years: a painting of Jesus welcoming one home into heaven with a warm smile and a huge hug. I LOVE it!!!
I'm looking for a true, born again and Holy Spirit baptized Christian woman who honors marriage and is faithful and committed to marriage to the end. There's much more to me than that though. I want real love, the kind that can only come when both of us are totally surrendered to the will of Father God, the Lordship of Jesus Christ, truly believing and keeping His Words and being led by His Holy Spirit.
We are committed to each other and hold each other higher than others around us. We are also willing and eager to both encourage one another and, if need be, to forgive each other and restore one another in love and gentleness, because "Love covers a multitude of sins.", and once forgiven, we put it behind us and we move forward in God's grace, mercy and love.
Having said that, I also long for that wonderful, physical romance and intimacy of a husband who can't wait to see his bride at the end of the day, to hold her in his arms and tell her he loves her and missed her and how beautiful she is to him and to kiss her from the depth of his heart and to be enraptured by her love.
And that his lovely bride can't wait to see her husband and hold and kiss him and let him know she loves and missed him too and that her love is for him only and that she encourages and prays for him.
To truly have that "Song of Solomon" kind of love between a husband and wife. I truly believe that two born again, Spirit filled believers can have that for life, regardless of age.
I also want to pray for and with my wife, being one in heart, mind and soul, because in Him the two become one, and in Him we live and move and have our being. I also want her to know how much I care about her and support her in the calling/gifting Father God has put in her heart as she compliments the calling He has put in my heart as well.
Not looking for an independent woman. I don't need or want to be "added" to someone's life, like an accessory. I'm looking for the one who knows that we are dependent upon each other (which is why the two become one, I need her and she needs me) as we are dependent upon Him, because apart from Jesus, we can do nothing (nothing of any value for God's kingdom). John 15:1-8
