I’m looking for someone to share the rest of my life with. Don’t let that intimidate you . . . I realize that’s a LONG shot. So for now I’d be content just meeting people that I have a few things in common with and with whom I have great chemistry. Then, we can take it from there . . .
I truly dislike the idea of spending time on an “online dating site”. But, I’m way past the age where I spend endless hours with other single friends out-and-about drinking in bars or other places where I might meet someone. Most of my adult associations are through work, Church, or the parents of my children’s’ friends. If you’re not a friend-of-a-friend, someone I bump into at the grocery store, or meet at Church . . . we’re never going to connect. So, I find myself here dealing with what I consider to be this “necessary evil” on the road to meeting someone.

- I am a Christian. I don’t consider myself to be any sort of fanatic, but would not be compatible with someone that doesn't have some sort of spiritual foundation.
- My goal is to meet someone in person . . . not trade endless emails. So, aside from a couple of brief exchanges to learn a bit about each other, I really want to get off of here and meet for coffee or lunch. I firmly believe that one cannot judge chemistry from a few cherry picked photos and a biased autobiography. Face-to-face is the only way to tell.
