I am a lover of geeky tv shows sci if, drama, murder mystery. I enjoy spending an evening in curled up on the sofa. I spend most of my time with my 2 children (8&5) who are full of energy. We like to go out to the park or days out and then back home to relax in the garden. We have just finished a very long journey of treatment for my son which took up the majority of my time and energy. Now I am looking forward and trying to find more things for me.
I’m hoping to meet someone who would like to join us on our days out, but would also be happy to sit with me on the sofa on an evening chatting about our days and enjoying watching similar tv shows (or taking it in turns to watch each other’s favourites).
I am a Christian and my faith is really important to me. Honestly I can’t imagine being with someone who doesn’t have similar Christian beliefs, but being comfortable with each other and learning to understand each other is vital too.
The biggest hurdle though is figuring out times to do that initial ‘getting to know you’ as my child free time is limited. So perhaps the most essential thing is being willing to get to know each other a bit online first and then some flexibility beyond that.

- I’d enjoy our first date to be low key if I’m honest. Meet for a coffee, take a walk in the park, sit and chat on a bench, or come round mine for a cuppa tea. If we are still interested after a few chats then do something a bit more special together once the ice is broken and any initial nerves are gone.
