- Well I work as an online professor at a prestigious university. I can work and travel when I want having a mobile career. I have the summers off and spring and winter breaks. I am doing the homesteading thing right now on a large acreage ranch I purchased about five years ago. I am not a Prepper or a kook! But love to learn new things and experiment in growing different things and tending to animals. Yes, I have a shooting range too as I am military and love to calculate distance and windage in my routine.
