I just moved to Omaha, NE, and am looking for something fun to do, places to go, and new friends.
I'm a Junior in University for an English degree to teach in middle school. I've also been with Walgreens for 10 years, and have just recently been promoted to Shift Lead, which is similar to a shift manager.
I'm hardworking, dedicated, honest, compassionate, and understanding, and I have a silly sense of humor peppered with references to movies, pop culture, songs, and other things I enjoy.
I love movies, music, and theater. Reading is nice too. I especially like thrillers, mysteries, and fantasy adventures. I'm also working on improving my writing skills so I can publish a YA fiction series (or two).
I greatly enjoy playing card games and board games, as well as collaborative games, like charades or Pictionary or Mad Libs.
I'm an excellent singer, and I enjoy going to karaoke bars, though, if I drink, the most I'll drink is probably something fruity, like a margarita or a daquari.
I have a 1.5 year old diluted Tortie cat named Indy, who I raised from 3 days old. I also like medium to large dogs, like huskies and Australian sheep dogs. I think they call them collies? Perhaps, I'm wrong.
