"in all things as unto Christ"
does anybody actually believe that?
Believe that it's right and true and God's way?
that God's way is the only way that is blessed?
I get that finding a man who you could give yourself to that way would be difficult.
not as difficult as finding a woman who you would happily willingly suffer with and die for in order to present her spotless and perfect
he died for me, he suffers with me and is making me spotless and perfect. all I want to do is submit to him in All things and be pleasing in his sight.
a Christian relationship and marriage is living out the relationship between Christ and his bride so God could bless it for the world to see and understand.
but who really looks at marriage as a covenant for the purpose of that testimony?
A good wife is like the rich earth of a garden ready to receive and give of herself. A good husband like the authority of the stone wall built around her.
The truth is turn down and built up into him Stone by Stone by submitting himself to the will of God to establish him. This wall that God builds, it both define her and shelters her. Protecting her from all who would would carelessly trample her or come to scatter the seeds of what would choke out the goodness of her life.
Can you see it?
Do you love it?
Then say so, tell someone else that's how it's meant to be.
God's ways are the only ones that are blessed by him.
The world wants to tell us it's a mutual partnership. But it's about lordship and submission the embodiment of the relationship that results in salvation and a spotless and blameless life.
I found the advertising on this site to be very unchristian and don't plan to keep using it
