I'm disconnected, possibly even alienated, but that doesn't make me weird. What's weird is the way our society has gone in my lifetime (i.e. since the 60s), with Christians now seen as some kind of wacky cult instead of the bedrock of our civilisation. So yes, I believe in Christendom and I'll fight to defend it. I don't subscribe to liberal orthodoxy, I think it's warped and screwing up our children (so just as well I don't have any). I'd love to have had children and been a dad but the way our society has gone, I seem to have just opted out. I say 'seem', because most of us don't understand the deeper reasons we do (or don't do) things.
Underneath all this doom and gloom is a playful personality waiting to be unlocked. Too many people seem to expect everyone to come perfectly formed with no bitterness or pain, this is unrealistic, we have to use our imagination about people, see their potential. Please no tattoos or strange piercings, nobody who talks faster than the Ts&Cs at the end of a radio commercial.
