- About Me
-
I was born and raised in Kentucky though, I've also lived in several other states through the years. Including... Arizona, Florida, Michigan, California, Washington State, Oklahoma, Colorado, West Virginia and Ohio. I enjoy Bible studies, mountains, (especially The Rocky Mountains) I enjoy, traditional hymn singing, violin, guitar and other stringed instruments, folk music, bluegrass, and more. I dislike game shows and sports.
Most passionate about helping others make it to Heaven! I'd like to find a kind, humble, patient man who brings out the best in me!
Being a Christian and helping others to know Jesus are more important than anything to me. The choices we make in this short span of time we call life determines where we spend eternity.
Most people live as though this life is everything, but Jesus is everything.

- A coffee shop, a car or air show. A place we can talk and get to know each other.
If you have read (or are willing to read) the book: Love, Sex and Lasting relationships by Chip Ingram... that is a bonus in your favor. I've read it a couple times and recommended it to many. It's beneficial reading for both unmarried and even married people.
The following was sent to me in an email from a singles group I use to be associated with when I lived in the Cincinnati area:
"Victorious Single Living" Recap
During our May meeting, we discussed how to live for God in a sinful world.
God calls us to live lives of purity and holiness, yet we are bombarded with images every day that tempt us to sin. So, how can we overcome these temptations? Hebrews 4:15 states, For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Thus, we must look to Jesus as our example of how to overcome temptation. When Satan tempted Jesus with bread in Matthew 4:3, Jesus had been fasting for forty days and forty nights. Thus, Jesus had a physical need (food), and therefore, Satan tempted Him with the very thing He needed. However, Jesus responded with the Word of God: ?Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God? (Matthew 4:4).
This is a great lesson for singles, because when we have a need (a need for money, companionship, etc.), Satan will try to fill that need with something that will look good, but it will take us out of the will of God. It is much better to wait for God to fill our needs and to remember that the spiritual benefits of living holy lives for God far outweigh the temporary benefits that the Satan offers.
