- Hmm. When I think of the perfect "date" I keep thinking back to the 2017 eclipse. That week a buddy and I took a road trip up to the grand tetons so we could witness the eclipse in its full glory, complete totality. That was a truly epic experience, yet strangly what I remember the most from that trip was the night before the eclipse. That night had been a frigid one with a clear sky. We had a hard time falling asleep because of the chill and our excitement for the eclipse. But I didn't care because when I looked up all I could see was the vastness of the Milky Way. I think that would be a pretty great date.
Of cource, for a first date without knowing the person really well, I would probably opt for coffee
