These personal stories that I write for me aren't easy. I often find myself wanting to point out my defects but in a better light when writing about me. Please keep reading and I will drop the negative and tell you about the wonderful me.
I'm a learner and thinker, sometimes a little smartassy but able to generate good conversation about almost anything out of thin air. I've lived as an adult in the four corners of the continental United States and my first childhood memories around 3 to 4 years old were of the United Kingdom.
I'm physically chubby right now I could lose a few pounds, I love walking the city and down by the Willamette, I'm mentally fit but as some point out we all handle the parts that are broken in our ways; and if you want to see my 1040s they aren't impressive but I do live in SW Portland downtown with a successful roommate splitting expenses.
I long to be a writer have since high school and can come up with a haiku or self revealed thought and write it down in just a moments time.
I enjoy cooking, watching movies and TV which are mainly thinking science fiction and fantasy stories. I enjoy a good action flick, historical tales and definitely a fun or dramatic western. I'd love to go to museums and art galleries one of my favorite was the Chuck Jones Gallery in San Diego.
I'm also a sports fan, being born in Tampa I have always rooted for the teams not just since they are winning so much now.
I am currently not driving, this is great city to get around with the Max, c-tran or ride services if needed.
God or whomever you call the highest power has been gracious to me to let me discover the beauty of life, mine and all others through my soon to be 50 years. I'm a Libra ♎ so faith in the pull of the stars and planets gives me maybe partial explanation of who I am and why I'm here but, to finish up I'll say that I'm not looking for someone to understand all I am but to want to get to know each other one day at a time, being ever more grateful as each moment passes.
