I’m not a normal person. ;) If that doesn't at least make you chuckle, you might just want to move on to the next profile...
But if you remain, thanks for staying! I’m an odd mix of interests floating in a warm, murky pool of offbeat humor. I'll be 40 in a few months, and let me be honest: being single is getting as old as my body. In this life I'm never going to get any younger, but I can still be less alone!
My daily life revolves around two things (aside from work), and only the second is negotiable: Jesus Christ, and my computer.
When it comes to my Christian faith, I take it very seriously. I’m in two different churches a week, and active in one of them. I have a rapport – if not more than that – with four pastors (one Calvary Chapel, one Baptist, two Pentecostal), a Messianic Jewish rabbi, and a Catholic priest. My own theology is conservative, and is Evangelical Protestant with moderate Continuationism. I also have great respect for the ancient churches despite some serious disagreements with them.
As for my computer, well, I’m a geek. I grew up being really into video games, Star Wars, and Star Trek, and while all three of those interests have taken a big hit with time and age, I’m still into them. In college I also picked up an interest in tabletop roleplaying games (TRPGs).
Now, if you're looking for a husband who can check off all the boxes of traditional manliness, I'm not that guy. I work for a living, but that doesn't mean I have any real money or muscle. (If someone breaks into our home to kill us, we're just gonna die.) And when it comes to cars and tools I'm useless. But I can tell you this: I’m smart, I’m hygienic, I’m loyal, I love animals, I have a high emotional IQ, I don't drink, I don't use recreational drugs, I don't view pornography, I don't gamble or smoke (anything), I don’t hoard, I don't have an anger problem, I’m not into guns, I hate drama and personal conflict, I'm almost stupidly honest, and I have a lot of friends who would be there for me if I really needed them to be.
I'm just a nice, weird guy who is dearly hoping to enter the second half of his life with a Christ-loving woman at his side.

- What would I do on a first date? Hopefully be someone you like. Other than that, I'm open to pretty much anything. I'd probably just do something casual, like meet somewhere for a meal, because I'm a casual guy.
