Hello. In updating and rewriting a bit of my profile, I am keeping an open door in what God may have planned from being on this site, if anything, all in His perfect timing and plan! Im also what I describe as "old school" and won't ever be the first one to reach out, I believe that falls on the man :). I believe developing a solid friendship should come first to gauge compatibility before dating/relationship.
A few facts hopefully helpful to know about me:
- Prayerfully keeping God #1 at the center of all I do is my most important priority first and foremost.
- I am generally a positive, optimistic person who can eventually find that "silver lining" in most difficult situations and believe God has a purpose and greater plan in everything. I do have my moments during overwhelming times however, just like most, where prayer is genuinely appreciated :).
- Communication and detailed communication at that are of extreme importance to me. I love to write... and do so often! So if you are a person who prefers "keep things short & simple", one word answer, small talk, and don't like to read or write with intricate detail & have depthly conversation... we will not be compatible.
- A long distance relationship to start is ok with me if that is what it ends up being. However, if you know that moving is not something you would ever consider, let's not start the process of getting to know one another lol. Also being able to speak English somewhat fluently is important as that's my only language!
- Character: Authentic, Transparent, Compassionate, Honest, Loyal, Respectful, and Humble qualities where there is desire to focus living life following the Lord's ways and path are very important 👍. However, if we can't ever correct one another in truth, I feel that is an issue. I also find some degree of mutual attraction is important too.
- I enjoy a variety of things... to name some- travel, gardening, reading (especially the Bible, anything that increases valuable knowledge, and poetry sometimes), concerts, depthly conversation, dining out, walking/hiking, do-it-yourself projects, good clean movies only (although admittedly I don't watch TV or movies a lot in general as I typically prefer to spend time otherwise). When I have the time and energy I'm typically up for new adventures. I have left out some other important aspects of life which you can certainly ask about in further conversation. I'm mostly an open book, but prefer to save certain topics for personal conversation instead of public reading.
- I also have two wonderful kids of part Asian Indian (India) genomic heritage :).
- A few of my favorite verses are Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 3:5-6, James 1:2-5, Joshua 1:9, Matthew 19:26, Matthew 7:7-8, Matthew 11:28-30... and so many more! If you don't plan on talking about faith, Christianity, the Bible, Jesus we also won't be compatible because God has my ❤️ first and foremost :).
**I don't always respond back to everyone I apologize. Time just doesn't allow for it. If I strongly sense we may be unlikely to develop any meaningful connection, I sometimes don't respond. I don't want to waste anyone's valuable time nor mine as I am not here out of boredom to pass time :). Thanks for understanding.
- First Date
- Probably a casual coffee date or dinner. Somewhere you can have a good conversation to get to know one another. If it ends up starting as a long distance relationship, then setting appropriate time aside to thoroughly get to know and spend time with one another with the ultimate goal of meeting one another in person. I believe getting to know one another thoroughly in a friendship manner is the most important thing to come first :).
