I’m an introverted, family focused mother to 5 who values deep connection, hard work and loyalty. I am a deep thinker and believe some of my best qualities are my compassionate nature and my heart for Gods people, there is always a meal at my home and an ear for people who need it.
I love to have a laugh, after all laughter is the best medicine. My sense of humour could be described as quirky and sarcastic (but not in the mean way)
I’m currently studying nursing and will graduate as an Enrolled Nurse in July 2021. I plan to go on to do my dual degree in RN/RM. I also hold an interest in mental health and psychology particularly the connections that can be drawn between Christian biblical principles and psychology. I have a vision to studying counselling and use that qualification to provide volunteer services through my church to those struggling, particularly those in DV situations.
After God family is the number one most important thing to me. I am a single mum to five children 13,6,5,4&2. They are simultaneously the reason my heart beats and the reason my heart may give out 😂. It has been a season of growth and daily meeting with God to establish our new life as a single parent home these past 2 years but I can’t imagine life with out these precious gifts. It is incredibly important to me that whoever I meet understands the demands a large family has because life just happens differently with kids around and kids are notoriously *loud*!
I am a real person, a warts and all type person. I don’t always get things right but I love to learn. I am seeking a partner who is equally as real, who is hardworking and family oriented, who loves Jesus and having fun. Someone who has a heart for people as I do. Loyalty, honesty and integrity and non negotiable.
I attend church every week and am a team member in our kids ministry team, leading the foundations program for children aged 18months to 5 years (pre school). It’s a blessing building relationships and helping lay the foundations in these children’s lives.
In my spare time 😂 ok, if I had more spare time, I enjoy reading, musicals, live theatre (haven’t been in ages and Oh, I miss it!), family time, cooking, being creative and enjoying the moment at a park or on an interesting walking trail. I am working on my health and fitness after having neglected it for so long and am enjoying (most of the time 😅) challenging myself and relishing the moments it gives me with my kids.
