Before I leave this app, I want to leave a little encouragement for you single ladies out there that are still seeking your Boaz.
I met my lovely wife on August 29th 2021 at 10:42 PM EST.
She is everything I ever prayed for and more, so wonderful that words cannot adequately describe her. I love her with every fiber of my being. The Lord only knows how much I wept and cried during that time of searching. I can vividly remember falling to my knees and just begging God to allow me to finally meet the woman that He had for me. I realize now that God only let us meet each other when we were both prepared enough to be the man and woman that each other needed. His timing is perfect and you just have to trust in that.
Ladies, if you have not yet met your man, it is because either you are not ready, he is not ready, or perhaps both. Just keep praying and asking God to improve your character. Focus on Him and He will bring that man for you at the proper time (Psalm 37:4). I'm so thankful that the Lord gave me the wisdom to realize that I needed to first grow in my faith before I could be a good husband. If you are reading this and you are one of those people who has a list of what your future spouse needs to be, go ahead and make a second list of what you need to be in order to attract that person.
Pray for a godly spouse that loves the Lord more than they love you, anything else is idolatry. Don't put your sense of self-worth in physical beauty or flattery. Instead, focus on strengthening your faith in Christ (Proverbs 31:30). Please, whatever you do, DO NOT settle for a guy who is an unbeliever, it will be disastrous for you and it is against the will of God for your life (2 Corinthians 6:14). To those who feel that God is not meeting your needs and you are tired of waiting, rely on your faith! God will never put you in a position where you have no choice but to sin! (1 Corinthians 10:13) Even though you haven't met the one for you yet, keep hoping and the Lord will give you exactly who you need (Romans 8:25). Above all, be patient and rely on the Lord to fulfill your desires (Psalm 27:14). Continue to pray that the Lord will give you wisdom and discernment and I promise you will find your mate. Focus on the things that truly matter and learn to see yourself the way that God sees you (1 Peter 3:3-4).
I praise God continually for allowing me to meet my wonderful wife. I realize that I do not deserve her and she is purely an extension of God's grace and mercy, therefore I will never take her for granted. I thank Him every day for entrusting me with one of His most precious daughters. Keep the faith ladies and you will find the one that He has prepared for you.
