I've focused on my family until they were all on their own. I’ve built my business until it was large enough to sell and retire. I’ve spent 3 years traveling alone in my RV getting to know myself as an independent individual. And now I'm ready to get back into volunteering and service activities preferably sharing my life with a true partner, helpmate, friend, and lover. Preferably all in one.
I was raised in New Jersy, North Carolina, Florida, and Trinidad. I was a stay at home wife and mother for 17 years. I was an electronics lab co-owner for 16 years. I've been retired since 2006. I've spent 18 years as a single mom. I have 5 kids from 42 yo to 21 yo. I was diagnosed with AML leukemia in 2009, almost killed by the chemotherapy that summer, but my brother's bone marrow cured me, all except a couple PICT line scars and old lady hair. I'm glad to be alive! Now I'm trying to follow God's path through finishing my novel, getting a new craft business out of the basement, traveling, and service or mission work while staying connected with my 5 kids and 10 grandkids.
Do I have time for you? You betcha! Especially if we share any interests and look to God to direct our paths. All my endeavors are aimed at giving back and following the top two commandments according to Jesus. 1Jn 3:17-18
God made us to share this life with a helpmate and I'm ready for having and being one.
What I like about myself: a thankful heart, curiosity, creativity, a sense of adventure, always actively seeking to learn, a desire to serve, openness, good communication, following Pr 31, and seeing God and his great gifts everywhere. I used to like being short but I'm tired of not being able to reach things.
What I like about you: a desire to follow God's plan for you more than anything else, a gentle, loving, open, giving spirit, a can do attitude, having known both hard times and great times creating both a thankful heart and an understanding of other's needs, light hearted and easily make me laugh, great communication skills or working towards them, love of travel, nature, adventure, service and family. Romantic and good at that stuff we do in private too. 1Co 7:3-5 😇
