- About Me
Hi I’ll type to anyone. I won’t meet or date just anyone. For starters you must have God first in your life. Not man, not your job, but God. You have to have your own personal relationship with Him.
I enjoy studying The Bible KJV. I didn’t answer my church attendance given fact there was not a choice for me. I study daily, since about the age of 9. I have thousands of hours in The Bible. I do miss some days now and then but it’s rare. I keep up with current events. Want to know something just ask. I serve The Lord first.
If it seems I’ve looked at your profile a dozen times sorry. I just scroll through whose online.
My favorite Bible verse Proverbs 3: 5,6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths
Okay if your interested in hearing about my baptism here’s my testimony to it.
A friend gave me a pocket New Testament Bible I read the Book of revelation first as I needed to know the end of something to see if I like it. I loved it.
I then went to Matthew and the rest of the Bible. I was nine. My parents didn’t attend church but God called me after reading The Bible I was on my knees beside my bed asking Him into my heart.
Now I knew I had to be baptized even though I never seen one. So I told my mom. She said I was to young. The answer was No. that hurt.
But I continue studying my little Bible and praying and caught a church bus to take me to church.
At the age of 17 I was spending part the summer with an uncle in West Virginia. He asked if I ever been baptized.
I said, “no but always wanted to be.” He arranged for me to get baptized. I prayed and fasted next three days. It had been so long I needed to make sure it was Gods will.
So the day of my baptism comes and it was pouring the rain really hard. You know the hard, hard rain, I said to my uncle I guess God doesn’t want me to get baptized.
His reply have patience.
Finally, the rain stop. He said let’s go. We go to Big Cub creek in West Virginia where a few of his neighbors were there from the church he attended. My parents were not there.
I was thinking the water is going to be freezing cause of all the rain. But instead it was the warmest I had ever felt.
After my baptism a rainbow appeared and I knew God was happy, then it started pouring the hard rain again for the rest of the day. I said, “ next time it rains all day stops for an hour you know someone just got baptized. A very, very happy day :)
After I started working at the age of 15, I bought my first Holy Bible King James Version both Old and New Testament. The Bible I still have and read today.
