About Me
NOTE: I'm taking a long leave from this site until I graduate from college. I won't be replying to any messages or winks until then. Thank you.

I gave my life to Jesus Christ was I was four years old, repented of sin, and received His salvation. I was baptized by immersion a few weeks later when the church congregation my family was attending had a baptismal service.

I am baptized in the Holy Spirit, as was the Church in Jerusalem (See Acts Chapters 1 & 2), and many millions of my fellow believers throughout history since then. (See Acts 19:1-5 and Hebrews 13:8-15, for confirmation of Acts 1&2).
---
[Many well-meaning believers in recent decades have been impatient with the believer (whether new or old in the faith), {and the Holy Spirit thereby}, demanding of both to produce an immediate outward expression of the believer's new state in his life with God when the believer has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

This is not correct or right to do, as the believer may believe that they have been called upon to perform for the congregation or pastor(s) rather than, (or alongside), worshiping and communicating with God as the Holy Spirit directs; thus causing the possibility for a door to offense and bitterness to be opened.

Furthermore, by the actions of all the believers involved in these incidents, they may cause the Holy Spirit to be aggrieved, quench His fire, or both; which would be most un-Christian. (See Ephesians 4:29-32, and 1 Thessalonians 5:17-24.)

Let us all be patient with God and humble before Him and walk with God in faith, brothers and sisters. If we do this without doubting, His joy will be our strength; And, as we live the Christian life, we will build up for ourselves treasures in heaven where moth and rust do not destroy, nor do thieves break in and steal.]

The most attractive quality in a wife is godly character; and in its best expression, it is always constant, never wavering, and ever-increasing. - The initial looks may fade and new ones will come about, but a righteous life with God is forever.

(This of course holds true for us men as husbands to our wives also brothers, if any of you men here should happen to see this.)

I am convinced, (unless God should lead me on a path similar to that of the prophet Hosea), that I will one day marry a Christian woman. It is my preference that she would already be Spirit-baptized, as I am. :)

A Brief List Of Useful Christian Literature -

The Westminster Greater Catechism
Foxe's Book Of Martyrs
"The Price of God's Miracle-Working Power", by A. A. Allen
"They Found The Secret", by V. Raymond Edwards
"Love and Respect", by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs
"The Power of Right Believing", by Joseph Prince
"The Believer's Authority", by Kenneth E. Hagin
"Mere Christianity", by C.S. Lewis - (I don't agree with C.S. Lewis's view on alcohol, and I base my disagreement and my policy on alcohol on Proverbs 31:1-5 and Ephesians 3:18-21.)

As I'm in college right now, I'm not actively looking for my wife.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely, John Whitefield.
First Date
Making the assumption of a romantic/serious intention date by the questioners...

Paying for the first date is my preference, but I would also be willing to split the bill, but nothing else payment arrangement-wise for the first date.

At this time, I would prefer to have the first date, (and perhaps even the first few dates), as a double/group date.

I'm not particular about the activity, so long as it is honoring to God, a good witness of the Gospel, and of our faith in Christ.

I like a wide variety of cuisines, and I do like to try new things in general, but not all the time.

I like many sports, especially baseball, (American) football, soccer/International football, and tennis. I like Checkers, Chess, Go, and similar games.

On dancing, I like ballroom dancing, and I greatly prefer it over dances created after Disco, which, in my earnest opinion, are largely comprised of lewd movements and nonsensical gestures, and are typically accompanied by artless music with unintelligent and ungodly lyrics.

Naturally, horror films and such things like them are not allowed in my dating. - Also, It is against my conscience to use escape rooms or similar entertainments.

---
At this time, and for several years from now; as the Lord teaches me how to date, I am not interested any public or private physical displays of affection besides holding hands/arms. sidehugs/chaste hugs, and kisses on the cheek.

I've got listening ears, a servant's heart, and great zeal for God and His Kingdom.

I will not perform any action which may cause succeeding actions to occur which are reserved for marriage.
(See Song of Solomon 8:4 and 1 Corinthians 7:8&9.)

Ladies, I assure you that I am kind, fun, and chivalrous man. After all this, it is self-evident that I also take both life and faith seriously as well.

I hope that you are all found by the godly husband that the Lord has for you. :)

Thank you.
