The most influential person that led me to God was my Dad who passed away and was an Anglican Baptist minister. He took me to all foreign movies when I was little. I didn't know there were movies without subtitles until Star Wars.
He also taught me the meaning of a promise and he would never use that word if he could not deliver. This taught me the valuable lesson that God our Father keeps his promises.
I learned the importance of keeping ones word and associate that with integrity in a person. Not to say I am not a flake at times but I never use the word promise carelessley especially with children, and I trust every promise in the bible.

- My favourite thing to do right now in this heat wave is to swim in the ocean. I find God's majesty and power in the waves and under water it makes me feel so small and grateful for our beautiful home earth.
I am a diver and my favourite experiece on earth was sitting on the ocean floor with an extra tank which allowed me more time underwater and watching a school of reef sharks swimming in a circle above me. The peace that surpasses understanding I seek in the quiet of the ocean. Unlike hiking or any other sport I feel immersed in Gods creation underwater. Or a cafe if you can't swim.
