I want nothing more in life than to serve God with a beautiful woman of God by my side and maybe a couple ginger babies running around.
That and a workshop where i can make cool things out of wood and metal.
I am not good at dating sites. Seriously. At all.
Every time I've tried this in the past, I've tried to "cast a wide net" and to appear as good as possible.
That's not happening anymore. I'm going to lay this out as real as possible; no sugarcoat.
Quick list (in no particular order)...
The Good:
Gainfully employed.
Good with my hands (fixing and/or making things).

Decent with kids but don't have any.

Pretty chill usually but not a pushover.
Grew up largely running the streets and have a street mentality approach to life, but also have intellectual interests and constantly trying to balance the two (which is often difficult).
NOT "progressive", NOT "woke".
Not down with antifa, blm or any groups like that.
I like traditional family values and the principles our country was founded on.
The Bible and the U.S. Constitution are my guiding documents.
Big supporter of the military.
Conservative with libertarian leanings.

The bad:
*Extremely busy...
-work nights, usually around 60 hours/week, sometimes more; spend a lot of time helping friends and family; Was heavily involved with a small startup church, but it ended up shutting down for various reasons.
*Smoker.
*Not super organized, largely due to being so busy.
*Hate country music (but i like folk rock, oddly enough).
*Can be extremely blunt and prone to calling out bullcrap when i see it.
*Dark and twisted sense of humor.
*Not the greatest Christian. Paul called himself the "chief of sinners"... I'm pretty sure I've done worse. I'm working on it but old habits are hard to kill.
Jesus is my Lord and Savior, i trust in Him and i believe the scriptures. I'm just a highly flawed human and struggle to live out my faith much of the time.
I have a bit of a jaded past. I did almost 3 years in prison in my early 20s, resulting in 3 felonies. Nothing violent. Not a sex crime. Also not drug related. Since my release 13 years ago, I've been "on the straight and narrow", legally speaking. I work, i sleep. Sometimes i go to church, sometimes i listen to it online.
Again, I'm just laying it all out from the start so you know what you're getting into.

I'm a ginger. I skateboard. I'm a giant nerd, though I'm not really into anime, with very few exceptions (DBZ mainly). Sci-fi is my jam. Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, etc.
I'm a cnc machinist. I work about 60 hours a week on night shift. I usually get off work around 2am.
Point is to let you know right away that I'm extremely busy most of the time (more than I'd like) and don't have a lot of free time.
I need someone who is willing to deal with how busy I am. I will make time for you, don't doubt that, but work is work and I've gor bills to pay.
I work for a very good company with real possibility for growth and advancement. I work the night shift because i get $2 more per hour and i don't have 4 bosses breathing down my neck.
I'm putting it all out there ahead of time so that if you decide to message me and possibly date me, you know what you're getting into.
My goal is to find a wife.
I'm not dating for fun.
I've done that already. I'm too old and too busy for a relationship that has no possibility of being permanent.

I have a few simple requirements for dating someone.
1, You must be a Bible believing Christian.
- no "new age/new thought", no "progressive" christianity. Real legit Faith that lines up with Scripture. You don't have to be perfect (God knows I'm far from perfect myself), but you must truly believe.
2, Somewhat obvious, but you have to be willing to deal with my work schedule. Depending on your schedule, this might mean we don't see each other during the week. It sucks, but work is work. I don't plan on working nights forever, but for the foreseeable future it's my best option.
Partly because i get a $2 shift premium and partly because there's a real possibility of moving up to a supervisor position.
I'm a straight shooter. I tend to speak my mind and be very blunt. Sometimes (often) this has gotten me into trouble but it's also what people tend to respect about me.
I'm also hyper critical of myself and far too often second guess things i say.
Just know that if i sound like I'm flip-flopping or backtracking things i say, it's not really intentional.

I'm not perfect by any means.
In Scripture, Paul calls himself the chief of sinners.
I'm pretty sure I've got a few up on Paul in that department.
I grew up more or less on the streets. I have a street mentality in many ways, but I'm also fairly intellectual. I'm very interested in scientific things, psychology and similar.
I'm very interested in Christian apologetics (if you don't know what that means- it DOESN'T mean apologizing for being christian), particularly the scientific evidence for God and Creation.
Eventually i would like to find a way to make a decent living that doesn't require me to work 60 hours a week. I'd like to find a way to either work from home or only work a few hours a week and do woodworking and such in my garage or whatever to sell online as sort of a side hustle.
My political leanings are strong conservative leaning toward libertarian.
Basically i think the government has grown far beyond its intended reach and needs to stay out of our lives.
Yes I supported Trump.
If that's a problem for you, i ask that you just move on.
