Seeking new friends who have similar beliefs. I used to be Reformed, but now I'm more Liberal, so trying to create a new circle of like minded people.
I believe in Jesus and his primary commandment to walk in love. I follow the Bible as guide, but I believe it has limitations, being written by a prescientific culture. Thus i believe that some things in the Bible don't apply today. I would put lgbt views in that category.
I also think there is a lot of mistranslation into English, which has led to ideas such as hell being forever, and women being unfit to preach in church.
I've spent the last seven years seriously looking into these matters for my own peace of mind. What I have found has brought me closer to God and made me happier as a Christian.
I'm passionate about God, but down to earth, and I believe God is down to earth as well.
