I am building a homestead in the Black Hills of South Dakota on 70 acres. Currently have 2 sheep, about 50 chickens, 13 ducks for meat and eggs. A dog and a cat. Will be growing food next year. Planning to add about 20 lambs in the spring, and once I have some help, a couple of dairy cows and some horses.
Being self sufficient as much as possible is important to me. It appears some bad times might be coming and it’s wise to be prepared.
I’m looking for someone that wants to live a more traditional life centered around family and homesteading.
I’m a natural business person and haven’t been anyone’s employee since I was 19. It’s all about personal responsibility and freedom. I just incorporated in South Dakota with plans to launch several entrepreneurial endeavors.
I’m originally from New Zealand. Moved to the US to work for a ministry. I’m a student of the Biblical texts but also ancient human history and all kinds of rather exotic interests. I make videos that share these findings and have a growing audience comprised mostly of curious people that follow Yeshua/Jesus but also many that would not consider themselves “Christian”. I myself love and follow Yeshua, but I am not your typical religious/Church type person.
If there was one word to summarize me, it would be CURIOUS. I will be the most curious person you’ve ever met.
