I became a widow suddenly in Nov of 2020 after 41 years of marriage. I have 5 adult children & 6 grandchildren. I also am a big animal lover. I am looking for friends first, and possibly more if the Lord leads. Would love to have someone to serve in the local church with, someone to read God's Word with, pray with and go places with.
I love to sing, write, work with children, read, go thrift store shopping, trips, quiet times by the lake, concerts, etc. I also like just getting out of the city for a day trip & going to a small town sightseeing. I listen mostly to praise & worship/gospel/hymns. I have a sense of humor & the gift of mercy. I am also a big Chiefs fan. My children all live within an hour of KC, so I would not move from here.
Family is very important to me, second to the Lord. I prefer someone who also lost a partner or has never been married, but would consider other circumstances as well. Not looking for anyone to replace my husband, but someone who could be my best friend and I could serve the Lord with until He returns.
I am a low maintenance gal who does not require expensive things, still use coupons when I can and am happy with the simple things of life.
