I’m looking for a committed Christian lady to be my wife-for-life. I believe a truly committed Christian is a doer of the word, and not merely a reader or hearer of it. Our first loyalty must always be to Jesus, He is our Lord, and my Boss. I do what He tells me to do. My preference is for a lady that is very active, that is fit and that likes adventures in the great outdoors, travelling and gardening. I’m open to being a father to her children if she has any, and/or we have our own children (God willing). I acknowledge that God has given us different responsibilities in marriage but I do believe that marriage is a partnership, and that husband and wife need to equally share the burdens of running a home and family albeit in different roles.
I’m an independent Christian, not aligned to or influenced by any denomination, and never can be. Sorry if that offends you, but I don’t think we Christians are supposed to be divided up into denominations, aren’t we simply supposed to be followers of Jesus, and following nothing or no one else?
I was converted by God to Christianity in 1983 in my home whilst reading the New Testament of the Christian Bible for the first time. God opened my mind at that time to believe in Him and the salvation He has provided for me (and for all who believe) through the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that sudden awareness and deeper understanding that happened to me back then, and the immense feeling of God’s love for me and for all mankind that I had, was my ‘born again’ experience.
I hope it doesn’t appear that I’m mainly interested in worldly pursuits. I’m not. But I am concerned about physical and mental health as well as spiritual health, and in my opinion good recreational activities and socialising are important for those. The goodly welfare of my brothers and sisters in the Lord are a high priority in my life. In terms of my service to the church, I have the gift of prophecy that Paul speaks of in chapter 12 verse 6 in his letter to the church in Rome.
I’m active, hospitable, gregarious, friendly, welcoming, communicative, honest, considerate, like children, and will be loyal to my wife at all times, but most of all I try to please God in everything I do.
I have a Police Check report which provides proof of my identity and that I don’t have a criminal record. I got this in case you will have children living with you, to allay any fears you might have of my integrity when being around children.
