Im the type of person who is traditionally inclined, meaning (among other things) i will ask your parents for their blessing in our relationship.

I dont expect anyone to be ideal or perfect, i just expect you to have jesus in your heart or at the very least to know that he belongs there. Anything else, with understanding, empathy and commitment, i don't see why we wouldn't overcome any possible issues.
