I am ready for the next chapter of my life.
I have been doing self-examination and soul searching lately. With all that I have been through (NDEs, Health scares, heartbreaks), I needed to know the "whys and what fors" and where I am now in this temporal journey.
Yup, I'm fairly introspective and writing has been my form of therapy when tempests lash and I get weary. I sometimes overthink and overanalyze though, but I am self aware now. I am tempering this flaw by living in the moment and enjoying it!
I get attracted to a man's mind and heart more than his looks. I love engaging in both profound conversations and banters -- I can be both serious and a loose thread, as the situation warrants😀.
I like the woman I have become now --toughened by trials but softened by God's steadfast love and faithfulness; broken by wounds of the past but healing and growing by His grace and yup, expectant of a beautiful future (Jeremiah 29:11).
I know my role in a man's life. I will be his best friend, helpmeet and partner for the rest of our earthly days. I am the other half that intends to make the whole beautiful, vibrant, resilient and for keeps. I am praying for my other half to do the same as well.
I envision my greatest love story to be one written and directed by God. He is the first and the last. His presence in the relationship will be our indestructible shield against the lies and assaults of the enemy.
I am selfless but I have a high self-worth. I am my own woman in Christ. I can opt to live single for the rest of my life, but I know I have so much love bursting in me, too. So here I am --ready to give it to the right one.
Yup, I am as much flawed as you are (hey, aren't we all?), but I love learning, growing and changing for the better. I'm the type who welcomes correction and loving rebukes, because even if they can be painful, they are necessary for growth and maturity.
So yeah, I desire a spiritually and emotionally growing (i.e.stable) man who can handle me --flaws and all, and hopefully won't give up on 'us' when life gets tougher.
My life verses are 2 Corinthians 5:15 and Romans 14:7-8. Other verses I keep close to my heart include Matthew 6:33 and Romans 8:32.
