I'm generally easy-going, optimistic, and down-to-earth. I approach life with curiosity and a sense of humor. I’m a sensitive person who loves deeply and is passionate about causes that matter to me. I’m a little introverted and shy, but I can be outgoing with the right people once I get to know them.
My Christian beliefs are the most important thing in my life. They shape my behavior and influence how I handle problems, resist temptations and make decisions. My greatest strengths: wisdom, compassion, forgiveness and kindness all result from my relationship with God. My family, my friends and my dog are also of top importance in my life.
Nature energizes me and I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, camping and nature photography. When stuck inside, I like to read, and I enjoy watching the occasional rom com, drama or action-adventure movie.
I’m a firm believer in pursuing your life purpose. This year I was happy to finally have achieved enough financial security so I could leave my job as a software engineer to answer what I believe is a calling from God to create a blog to educate others about how to live joyfully and pursue happiness based on Biblical wisdom, Positive Psychology and my own life experiences.
God has richly blessed me and I'm grateful for what I have. I’ve been divorced a long time and I have achieved contentment being single. But I still have a God-given desire to find a husband so we can glorify God together by modeling for the world what God’s relationship with His church is like through our marriage.
