I became a Christian when I was 18 years old. Since then the foundation of my Christian faith has been my daily quiet time of prayer and reading God‘s word. Growth has also come from Christian fellowship and from reading Christian authors.
Several years ago I read through the scripture references about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I prayed for and was prayed for to receive baptism of the Holy Spirit. I did not receive the gift of tongues but I did receive other gifts with which to serve the body of Christ.
In the past, I’ve served in Christian ministry beyond my local church and in the future I may do so again. Currently I am involved in a couple of prayer groups at my church.
A scripture which is a daily reality in my life is Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make your paths straight.
I’m hoping to meet a girl with a deep Christian faith, where we related well together (on the same page). I’m still hoping to get married and have kids of my own.
