Retired, widowed and moved back to Montana after being in the Northwest for all of my career in the IT field.
Retirement has been good. I am still raising a teenage daughter and learning to cope with being a single parent. I try to cook, but she won't always eat it. I'm learning to use a smoker. I enjoy fishing with my brother but prefer the catching and eating. Maintaining the household seems to take up a lot of time, although my daughter wants me to hire a cleaning service.
It is hard for me to list specific interests because I'm willing to try just about anything. I like different kinds of music, movies, sports and activities.
I attend a large church here. I enjoy the different groups offered. I'm still trying to see where I can serve best here, but I don't want to become so involved that I neglect my daughter while she is still at home.
I prefer to do most of the listening and less of the talking.
