- If there is one thing I have learned, It is counting the cost of following Jesus, Luke 14:28, I believe that a lot of people don't understand, and when storms and trials of this life, come, they take the easy way out. James 1:2-8 This life will be full of tears and heartache, and betrayal, but as long as we know who holds tomorrow, it doesn't matter. Because it is not about what we can get for ourselves, from God, Its what we can give of ourselves to God, no matter the cost. I am and have been learning this, and have had to count the cost, and make some tough choices of what is really important, in my walk with God. I lost the use of my eye, I am going through a divorce, but regardless of all this, I have counted the cost, and found no matter what, I wouldn't trade anything, for the life I have chosen, and that is to serve God and to grow deeper and be a blessing, for His Kingdom.
