About Me
Latest and Greatest
Hope not to disappoint but the title has nothing to do with a completely new, revised, extended and enhanced, version of myself. My personal development actually works more like via patches and, every so often, a service pack smiley So yeah, the title is just to indicate yet another attempt at writing a profile. So here we go:

After thinking about a few possibilities on how to start and what to write, one of my recurrent topics on these profiles comes back to mind: honesty. If I didn't explicitly say it or write it in past versions, at least in my mind the idea has always been that I consider honesty the primary moral value and as such, one on which I strive to base my life. Besides all the philosophical arguments that could be put forward, the simplest for me has been that it makes life a bit easier when you are honest. And having lived in a few distinct countries and cultures, I believe my experience counts as proof.

So now I'll tell you, in all honesty of course, a few things about myself. If you wanted to use one of those standard psychology terms (psychology being one of a bunch of topics I find very interesting by the way) I'd probably fall more towards the introvert side. Not introvert as in having difficulties interacting with others but more in the sense of being more interested in and finding more rewarding to establish and be involved in deeper and more intimate relationships. In that sense, large and noisy crowds don't attract me that much. In a group, there isn't much of a chance to connect with someone the way I like; being able to find out what someone feels, what her interests are and what are the believes behind her choices and acts. Groups can still be fine though, and the occasions I have in mind involve either very dynamic and competitive activities or a goal better achieved in communion. Sports are an example of the first category and learning of the second.

If I had to summarize my attitude in life in one sentence, it would be "I like challenges, I want and try to do the right thing the best I can and I am very curious". I think it is so accurate, that you could actually trace back to it almost all of my life. From the risks I dare to take, as in sports or activities I have practiced or as in the choices I've made that affect the path of my life; to being supportive, patient, sweet and cuddly in a relationship (though conservative and old-fashioned when it comes to other forms of physical intimacy); and even the continuous desire to learn about our Father in heaven and understand and explore his creation.

And what about you? What sentence would describe your attitude in life?

Be blessed and be honest smiley
First Date
My first suggestion would be a walk around a big natural park or zoo in spring to openly talk about everything (I like cold weather though so even winter is good). I'll definitely ask the lady whether she would prefer something else though. And yeah, bungee jumping is an option!
