Hey, I’m Dee! Welcome to My Crazy Life, Part II
I’m a classroom support specialist / future office manager, and when I’m not harassing (I mean loving) my fur-baby, watching football or at the theatre, you’ll usually find me outdoors. Whether it's camping, fishing, sitting by the firepit or grabbing a beverage at the local café, I love finding new experiences to dive into.
Looking for someone who’s loves to laugh and doesn’t mind new sites, sounds, and experiences.
Let’s grab a drink and see where it goes – or if you’re into trivia, we can start with that! 😊
- First Date
- For a first date, I'd want to keep things relaxed and fun, creating space for good conversation and some natural chemistry. Ideally, it’s something that allows for interaction without too much pressure. I’d suggest going for a coffee or tea at a cozy café where we could chat easily. If we’re both into the outdoors, maybe a walk through a park or botanical garden could be great too. A fun, low-stakes activity like visiting a local art gallery, museum, or farmer’s market can also spark conversation without being too intense. I’d aim to choose a spot that's not too loud, but not too quiet either—somewhere that gives us space to talk without too many distractions. I like the idea of picking a place with a good atmosphere, but nothing overly formal, so it feels natural. If we both like it, we could stay for a while. If we don’t click, it’s easy to keep things light and make a smooth exit. I'd focus on having an easy conversation—things like hobbies, travel, favorite books or movies, music tastes, etc. Humor is key, so I’d try to keep things lighthearted and fun. I think it’s important to listen closely and ask questions that show genuine interest in the other person’s thoughts and experiences. When the date wraps up, I’d make sure to thank them for the time spent together. If there’s a connection, I’d suggest making plans for a second date or express that I’d like to see them again. If not, I’d still be polite and friendly and thank them for the enjoyable time.
