- About Me
- I own my house. Easy-going. Asthma. No pets. Allergies. I attend church when I can, which is often! I try to learn something every day. I am learning the German language. I eat pretty cleanly, and I advocate good health practices and exercise. You'll have to tolerate my humor and my cooking. (It's delicious and the cooking's not bad either!)
- First Date
- We'll open up with tea and a conversation, followed by a home-cooked meal. Then cards and board games. Simple things are usually the best. The worst we could do is get rained on waiting for delivered pizza. Let's not.
About the person I want to meet: Do you like to sit at home and read?
Do you like to take naps on the Sabbath after Church?
Do you like to pick apples in October?
Do you value the structure of a schedule?
How do you value down-time to work time?
Are you fond of predictability? I find most people are!
At the same time, are you sick of boring redundancies?
Do you believe that humor is an amazing way to bond with someone?
What does a successful relationship look like to you? Not everything is roses and poetry. (Plenty of that for later!)
In the Garden of Eden, our first parents were helpers to each other. It is not one spouse's job to entertain the other in perpetuity. The Fun may wear the spouse out. Every day, we should look for ways to be a servant to one another. How can I help you?
Intrigued?
Then you might just have to take a chance with me. ;)
