- God JUST brought me through a significant medical situation and has restored me to health. He saved me for something, I don't want to let Him down. I no longer have specific dreams for my own life because I'm beginning to accept that this life is not my own. It belongs to He who created me and should be freely available for Him to do His work through as He wishes. I would like a partner if He chooses to bless me with one but it is not my end all, be all goal or desire in life. I really want to please Jesus even though I'm still a person filled with flaws, contradictions and imperfections. Worship music is a dominant fixture in my life. I love Brandon Lake, Phill Wickham, Elevation Rhythm, Maverick City Music, King and Country, Cain, Jesus Culture, Thrive worship, Forrest Frank, Austin French, Consumed by Fire and SO SO MANY more. Honestly I can't carry a tune but I don't let that stop me. I feel like if my singing is bothering you it means YOU'RE not singing loud enough.🙂 I'm overly honest sometimes. Don't get me wrong I still have things I hide just like everyone else. But I tend to flaunt my flaws in the beginning. I think it's a good way to quickly remove the majority of incompatible people from the equation. I've learned that chemistry and compatibility are two very different things and people often confuse them just as they do with lust and love. That's why it's important to have proper discernment in such situations. I'm an affectionate person when it comes to love so it's important that my partner is truly respectful of my boundaries. I've been practicing abstinence for the last six years and will continue to avoid sex outside of marriage. I used to love watching Jeopardy although I haven't done it in a while and I enjoy doing crossword puzzles together. Church attendance is very important to me because if you don't have time for Jesus you certainly don't have time for me. For the last year or so I've been attending service twice on Sundays. I enjoy going in the morning so it sets myself up for a happy day. But my brother can only attend in the evening because he works nights so I return to worship with him. I also attend Catholic mass once a week at St Mary's because it's my family heritage. It also gives me something to discuss with my best friend and cousin Ken. Who is 80+ years old and lives in San Gabriel California. Although they have both recently concluded I usually attend two different groups on Wednesdays. In my home group we did a study of "Experiencing God" and in my Bible Study Fellowship group we covered the book of Revelation this year. My schedule has recently opened up and although I've been attending my house of worship for 5 years I'm in the process of finding a new home Church.
